A phenomenal permanent opportunity has arisen to join the Quality team as Product Assurance Engineer supporting space projects in the development & production phases of the life cycle at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies Edinburgh.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Assurance Manager to play a pivotal role within the team with the aim of ensuring all core Product Assurance activities are met.

Key responsibilities
- Provide support to the bid team (PA Plans and estimates) and lead the production of the Product Assurance section of the Statement of Compliance.
- Ensure Customer requirements are within the scope of Honeywell QMS and generate approval documentation where waivers/deviations are identified or requested.
- Produce the Project Product Assurance Plan detailing activities and deliverables.
- Manage all Product Assurance deliverables in line with the Project PA Plan.
- Management of all project non-conformances.
Desirable skills and qualifications:
HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance is desirable, or 10 years of experience as a Product Assurance Manager.
Ideally a practitioner of current QA problem solving and improvement methods (8D, RCA, DMAIC, etc.).
A high degree of self-motivation, autonomy, and ability to work proactively, with excellent organization, communication & social skills.
Strong analytical skills, Microsoft Office packages, use SAP QM system, and document management tools.
Continuous improvement awareness and initiative to deliver improvements.
