We are seeking a Program Scheduler that must understand project management processes and specialize in translating functional plans into detailed resource loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Administers the controls of schedules on contracts, some requiring Earned Value Management (Cost schedule control system). With general supervision and working within broad established guidelines and procedures, plans for the orderly completion of objectives on assigned programs. Essential Functions:
- Proficient practical knowledge of Program Management processes and requirements
- Expert in MS Project
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Proficient in Earned Value Management
- Coordinate with Program Controls Analyst (PCA) function to incorporate status and changes to schedules and operate the baseline change request process
- Prepares integrated schedules for all budgeted work, incorporates changes, challenges inputs to the schedules from the control account managers, and aggressively resolves issues
- Develops and creates resource loaded project-level Master Schedules
- Analyzes, and incorporates monthly status information provided by PCA and prepares accompanying narrative reports
- Types of schedules to include Gantt charts, network diagrams, and milestones schedules
- Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Experience in Program Management processes and requirements.
- Experience with MS Project or similar scheduling tools
- Must be a United States Citizen.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience in Earned Value Management.
- Curiosity, a drive to understand plans and objectives sufficiently to create accurate schedule model representations including logical links and parallel path options
- Experience as a MS Project Online or Project server administrator
- Experience with Power BI or other vizualization tools
