Job Description:
We are looking for a Financial Internal Controls Specialist to join our GBS!
Responsibilities - your mission
Annual review of the One Pager by participating in its approval, modification and implementation, evaluating the impact on the teams of these changes and possible new processes.
Provide training, follow-up and support to the teams during the whole process.
Acting as a focal point between AR and FET responding to the demands and needs of both departments.
Information management ensuring that controls are documented according to established criteria.
Compilation of the documentation required by the second level of control and external auditors.
Establishing improvement plans in the implementation and execution of controls, to make them a more efficient and simpler process for the teams.
Supporting the entire team in any activity or action that requires the participation or approval of internal controls.
ERM and ICSA self-assessment campaign.
Provide support and guidance for Heads of Finance worldwide by preparing, conducting and following-up on awareness sessions (incl. update of documentations, FAQs, internal training sessions, etc)
Support Heads of Finance in the monitoring and progress of action plans related to Internal Financial Control improvement recommendations (coming from FIT-Checks, internal or external audits).
Prepare and provide status reports for regular high-level management meetings
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have
Degree or first experience in Finance / IT
2 years of experience
Good understanding of Business Processes in the Finance area (R2R, P2P, O2C…)
Experience in Finance Audit/Internal Control review in the Finance and/or IT function,
Knowledge on Risk & Compliance tools is a +, such as: SAP GRC, SAP BIS, data analytics
SAP Knowledge (High level understanding of the data flows, structure in SAP),
Ability to identify, clarify and resolve
Self-motivated problem solver and quick learner
Good analytical problem solving and fact-finding skills
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Customer oriented and team spirit
Flexibility and capacity to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment
Language Skills: Negotiation level in English
Strong relationship building skills.
