Operations division's task is to execute Finnair's flight operations safely, economically and in a reliable manner. Flight operations entail the pilot resources, flight planning, flight competence optimization, coordination of and compliance to regulations as well as operational maintenance and ground operations. Finnair Technical Operations is responsible for the airworthiness of Finnair fleet. The key objectives of Technical Operations are safety, reliable flight operations and cost-efficient maintenance processes. We are now looking for a ENGINEER FOR CABIN & PAYLOAD ENGINEERING TEAM to maintain and develop Finnair aircraft cabins and to optimize maintenance costs. You will be responsible for engineering of specific aircraft cabin areas and acting as the lead on discussions with vendors. The duties will include designing modifications for aircraft cabins as part of Finnair’s Design Organization, carrying technical responsibility for interior items, monitoring manufacturer/community information and Finnair fleet metrics, and maintaining close co-operation with OEMs, vendors and other stakeholders, to coordinate In-Service Issues and product development. Main responsibilities: Managing and taking full ownership of the assigned aircraft cabin area Mod status (SB + DOA), ISI’s, defect trends, maintenance support, possible projects Communication and development with vendors Supporting our Line Maintenance organization together with MCC Managing and developing maintenance and engineering processes Managing and preparing aircraft cabin modifications under Finnair Design Organization and with 3rd party Design Organizations You can be an experienced engineer or just starting your career, motivation and the right attitude is what we are looking for.
