Job Title: NDT Inspector
Working Pattern: Full time

An exciting opportunity has risen in the Defence UK Operations Wash & NDT area within the Assembly facility. Thereby we are looking to recruit an experienced NDT inspector.
The team supports the NDT capability for all Defence products across OE, MRO, and Development. There is also frequent support to Naval Marine and certain other areas of Aerospace.
We also have close links with the manufacturing area in CSVB.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. What you will be doing:
- Inspection of parts using appropriate plant, equipment and techniques ranging all programmes within Defence Aerospace.
- Working to approved process/inspection procedure card specifications and drawings.
- Checking priorities and owning the commitments for turnaround of jobs.
- Aiding the team in routine control checks for the area.
- Continually looking for and highlighting efficiency improvements.
- Ensuring full compliance with FOD & Segregation policy.
- Support to the NDT level 3 as required in order that new parts to the area are suitable highlighted to enable subsequent process paperwork to be implemented.
- Booking time against each task in SAP.

- Previous experience of Aerospace NDT practices is essential, previous approval to Level 2 EN4179/NAS410 or Level 2 PCN Aerospace will be preferable
- Experience of HS&E is preferable
- Attention to detail
- Flexible to cover a variety of jobs within the team with often changing priorities
- Ability to learn new skills & jobs quickly
