Collins Aerospace is seeking to hire a
Forging Account Manager to be a key professional in tactical supply chain management, overseeing critical functions that drive operational success. This role involves validating demand forecasts, creating and managing purchase orders (P.O.), ensuring on-time delivery, and effectively handling exceptions to maintain seamless supply flow. Ideal candidates for this position are detail-oriented professionals with strong organizational skills, a background in Supply Chain Management, and three to five years of relevant experience. This role offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact on business performance by enhancing supply chain efficiency and reliability.

Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure uninterrupted flow of material to support manufacturing and customer OTDReview purchase requisitions against the master production schedule to validate demandCreate P.O. in accordance with requisitions and contractual requirementsExpedite material as needed, negotiating and working changes within supply base through the Change Board processEnsure inventory goals and objectives are metNegotiate with suppliers as required for reschedules in support of inventory and business objectivesSupport the Supply Chain Sales and Inventory Planning (SIOP) processAssist the Supplier Performance evaluation processInterface with Supplier Quality personnel to ensure supplier performanceOther duties as assignedTravel < 20% as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- Experience in ERP system.
- Experience in Manufacturing Sector
- Successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP and be eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP experience or equivalent MRP system experience
- Ability to self-start and multi-task in a dynamic environment is a plus.
- Supply Chain Management Experience in Aerospace industry
