Role Introduction
Reports to:Digital Learning Lead – Analytics & Systems
As the Learning Systems Executive, you will assistthe day-to-day administration of the learning management system (LMS), business units in class management, content management, and assessment management.
You will also work with Learning Specialists and the internal LMS management team in supporting the LMS needs of the business units; ensure high data quality and accuracy in the LMS, and maintain both the sandbox and production environments.
You will also act as an in-house expert of the learning management system, troubleshoot escalations, coach/train learning admins from the business units on the effective and efficient use of the learning management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day to day administration of the learning management system, specifically on user management, including the upkeep of audience/smart lists, prescriptive rules, and user security roles; management of learning records from new joiners to termination, for both internal and external users
- Assist business units in class management (enrolment, creation of classes and courses, completion of classes, waitlists), content management (versioning and re-versioning, uploading, archiving, updating), and assessment management (creation of scheduled and ad hoc reports) responsibilities, for internal users and business units
- Support Learning Business Partners and the internal LMS management team in the upkeep and maintenance of People Hub data in the LMS, help in the management of both the sandbox and production environments, and Cathay Academy page in The Hub
- Serve as in-house expert of the learning management system, troubleshoot escalations, and coach/train learning admins from the business units on the effective and efficient use of the learning management system
- Designand create visual aids, PDFs, and other training materials and collaterals to be used in the Learning Hub as required
- Support the administration and handling of escalations received through the ITSC support portal, as well as managing emails received from learners/users via the LMS email support
Requirements
- Self-starter, capable of working as part of a cross functional team, working with all levels
- Tech and system savvy, proficient in desktop applications including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Abode, Storyline or learning management or content management systems experience is a plus
- Experience in facilitating and organizing both virtual and live classrooms or meeting environments
- Comfortable communicating with people/teams from different levels, from both external and internal users, either through email, virtual or in-person channels
- Willingness to learn systems and process on an accelerated pace, with the initiative to ask questions, and the curiosity to explore, test, validate, investigate, troubleshoot
- Experience in creating visual aids, PDFs, and other training materials and collaterals would be advantageous
