Role Introduction
Reports to:Head of Cabin Crew
As the Assistant Manager Cabin Crew Career Development in the Inflight Service Delivery team, you will be contributing to the design and execution of career development strategies for Cabin Crew in our Inflight Service Delivery.
You will be responsible for leading assessment and selection activities for progression, promotion and retirement age extension panel interviews. You will also be accountable for leading various HR projects and contributing to the daily operations to enhance cabin crew engagement and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and execute crew development strategy for Inflight Service Delivery teams’ roles
- Formulate continuous improvement of the cabin crew promotion experience
- Optimise the screening process for promotions and retirement age extensions based on data from the Service Excellence Enablement Project
- Design, implement and review assessment tools, systems and processes for selection to align with Corporate strategy and ensure consistent execution of candidate experience
- Take part in role plays, panel interviews and assessments
- Lead and provide guidance to Cabin Crew Career Development Executive, Cabin Crew Talent & Career Development Executive and Officer in the end-to-end processes (from discussing requirements with the assessment panels, selection processes, job advertisement creation, sourcing, screening, selecting, offering and training and rostering arrangements) and short-term assignments and projects
- Support outport cabin crew bases’ promotion activities
- Deputise for Head of Cabin Crew when required
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources or related discipline is preferable
- 5 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or in-house recruiter and Cabin Crew leadership role
- Previous exposure to high-volume recruitment and recruitment platforms will be a plus
- Strong influencing and relationship management skills
- Experience in running competency-based and technical interviews; or other assessment and selection tools
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and Cantonese
- Ability to lead and manage multiple tasks and projects
