We are now looking for a sharp and business-minded REVENUE MANAGER / ANALYST to strengthen our team of Revenue Management and Pricing (RMP) experts. In the Revenue Manager / Analyst role, you’ll be responsible for independently conducting rigorous & detailed evaluation of Finnair’s competitive positioning across all markets in your portfolio & channel segments. You’ll will be responsible to monitor & influence Finnair passenger demand forecasts and fare structure ensuring they are reflective of the current competitive environment, booking trends, market conditions, commercial strategy, operating schedule, special events & seasonal demand variations. You’ll also be responsible for providing management & key stakeholders with market updates on O&D forecast and competitive positioning to assist with analysis, forecasting & budgeting. As Revenue Manager / Analyst you’ll be responsible for O&D revenue planning & analysis as well as O&D performance management. We are looking for a goal-oriented person with analytical skills and true business-orientation who is ready to take responsibility for delivering the targets associated with their portfolio within Revenue Management & pricing. To succeed as our new Revenue Manager / Analyst, it is essential that you’ll have: Knowledge & understanding of airline demand forecasting, pricing, O&D Revenue Management systems, airline distribution approaches. Knowledge of pricing tools such as Airnguru, ATPCo, Altea Inventory, Infare in desirable, as is fare construction. Previous airline commercial demand and/or pricing experience with a network carrier is desirable. Experience of Amadeus Inventory is also advantageous. The type of individual suited to this role will have excellent analytical skills, be a dedicated problem solver & possess a sharp commercial acumen. Highly motivated self-starter, goal-oriented & likes to get involved in / lead projects as needed. A commercial mindset coupled with the ability to formulate a strategy is required. Excellent attention to detail is required, as is the ability to analyze, interpret & present large volumes of data. A strong & effective communicator with excellent written & verbal communication skills – ability to describe complex systems & strategies in an easy-to-understand manner. Well-developed prioritization & time planning skills. Well-versed decision-making capabilities are important. Fluent English both written and verbal is required. Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, business, aviation, or engineering. In this role, as the champion of Revenue within RMP, you will apply best practice & utilize revenue management tools to ensure that Finnair’s flights consistently produce maximum revenue returns. You will also be responsible for delivering the revenue budget / targets associated with your portfolio.
