This is a full-time role based in Luton, and will be 40 hours per week, with some occasional travel required.
A typical day might see you working with a wide range of stakeholders across the business as well as industry groups such as Sustainable Aviation and the Hydrogen in Aviation Alliance.

What You Need To Do This Role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to manage and continuously improve easyJet's Net Zero strategy and modelling, ensuring robustness and up-to-date practices. This role involves overseeing the Greenhouse Gas accounting model, managing key partnerships with industry leaders like Airbus and Rolls-Royce, and coordinating specific Net Zero projects. The successful candidate will develop strong relationships across easyJet and with external stakeholders, acting as a business partner to embed sustainability within various business areas and supporting environmental sustainability reporting and disclosures.
Key competencies include ownership and delivery, innovation and change, building relationships, analytical capability, and time management. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for aviation and sustainability, capable of working independently and as part of a team. They must demonstrate advanced analytical skills, the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to build trust and influence at senior levels. This role also requires developing deep expertise in technical areas such as Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), hydrogen, and greenhouse gas removals, and supporting internal and external engagement strategies.
Key Skills Required
The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in the airline or aviation industry, specifically in Strategy, Finance, Commercial, or Operations, with a solid understanding of business management. A technical background in science or engineering and experience in sustainability are advantageous. They must possess excellent analytical skills, be proficient in Excel and other analytical tools, and have strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders. Knowledge of aircraft and airline operations, along with project management experience, is beneficial.
