A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Sales Engineer like you, to oversee and bring expertise to our team.
Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. Key Accountabilities:
Calculate budgets and generate sales quotations with full technical specifications for supply, installation and commissioning of KPP (DUPS) systems in Singapore and Asia Pacific.
Assist the sales managers in the development of sales presentations.
Gather information about our clients’ needs and work with the sales managers to develop a tailored offer to ensure the KPP system is offered to the correct regulatory requirements and installation standards.
Answer to technical questions about the KPP functionality and its auxiliaries during sales and tender activities.
Complete/review Risk Assessments and Method statements for servicing and engineering based activities.
Check tender requirement and contractual obligations either confirm specifications of DUPS systems, its control system and power distribution at LV or MV level, as well as its auxiliaries like fuel transfer system, diesel engine cooling system, room ventilation and acoustic treatments.
Present the product, ideas and information accurately and explain industry jargon in a clear manner for customers and consultants during presentations and tender clarifications and/or evaluations. Once a project would be awarded for the company a decent and accurate information transfer has to be organized by you.
Work together with the company’s sales, project and customer service departments as well as with the company’s overseas manufacturing and sales departments
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Degree in the Field of Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years working experience in Power Industry
Affiliation with Diesel Engines and or Power Generation
Working knowledge in MV & LV critical power installations
Ability to understand single-line drawings
Experience with Mechanical appliances is also preferred
Clients oriented and familiar with tender procedures
Good communication, math, analytical skills
High result driven and teamwork attitude; ability to multitask and cope with deadline pressure
