Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer (BI/BW) to join our IM team based in Grand Prairie, TX or Columbus, MS.
In this role, you will support and develop the business Intelligence and analytics requirements for Airbus Helicopters, Inc. (AHI). You will also provide assistance and participation with the technology, the design and implementation of new functionality around supported stacks such as SAP BW, Spotfire, and Palantir, as well as to support existing functionality through enhancements, problem resolution and focused support to clients.

Your Challenges:
Analytics Product Development, Maintenance, and Support: 60%
Provide assistance with the technology and participate in the design, configuration, testing and confirmation that client needs are met after implementation of new functionality, as well as to support existing functionality through enhancements, problem resolution and focused support to clients.
Provide support for various functions as it relates to data transformation, cleansing and integration in the reporting platforms. Includes reporting/analytics/dashboard enhancement requests from the user community.
Analyze and assemble complex sets of data using various technologies
Provide support for SAP BI/BW including configuration and enhancement requests. This can include the entire BW process, from extraction to end-user reporting, developing and maintaining SAP BW extractor and performing BW environment analysis and tuning in compliance with Airbus quality standards.
Complete testing methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality, including unit, integration, system and regression testing
Work with Data Management teams in Airbus Europe to ensure global and end to end consistency of data, platforms, and solutions, especially concerning SAP BI/BW
Technical Leadership 20%
Serve as the IM technical lead/product owner for BI/BW or other projects, following the Airbus project management processes and providing BI related work products for other projects that include BI requirements
Partners with the BI team members in various countries to coordinate data modeling and other technical aspects of the reporting and dashboarding lifecycle.
Analytics Products Awareness and Coaching: 10%
Work within business units to promote the advantages of creating data products and visualizations to further business objectives
Coach internal business users with a goal of being largely self-sufficient for their analytics needs
Analytics Research 5%
Research and document new and improved features on existing tools
Recommend new ways of using tools to further business needs
Other Duties as Assigned 5%
Your Boarding Pass:
Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Business Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years in data visualization, analytics and reporting development, delivery, and support, of which 2 years must include hands-on development and support work in SAP BI/Hana with strong grasp of development tools, especially current versions of Eclipse IDE
Solid grasp of SAP BW on Hana 7.5 or BW/4HANA or Palantir capabilities
Additionally, must have 3 years in at least two of the following:
data management and data security
business and data analysis
delivering products and solutions under agile and/or waterfall methodologies
Ability to communicate and present effectively in verbal and written form in English
Authorized to Work in the US
10% Domestic and International travel required
Preferred Education/Skills:
Knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Aerospace, Customer Service, Aircraft Programs, Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Quality
SAP ABAP Certification
SAFe Agilist, Scrum master, or other certification
