Position Summary:
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on leader to serve as the Director of Technology Architecture. This role will drive the strategic design and implementation of enterprise technology solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA technical capabilities, middleware interface tools, low-code/no-code platforms, and full-stack application development. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with stakeholders to align technology architecture with business objectives, lead the modernization of legacy systems, and ensure the enterprise is positioned for future growth through scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Technology Strategy:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze enterprise objectives, identify future-state technology needs, and define architectural strategies to meet them.
- Translate business and technical requirements into a comprehensive architectural blueprint to achieve organizational goals.
Technical Leadership:
- Lead the analysis of the current technology landscape to identify critical deficiencies, technical debt, and legacy systems requiring modernization.
- Recommend and implement solutions for technology improvement, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and evaluate emerging technologies for potential enterprise adoption.
SAP S/4HANA Expertise:
- Provide robust, hands-on knowledge in SAP S/4HANA technical areas, including ABAP, Basis, Fiori, and Security.
- Oversee and support the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions that align with business needs.
- Lead migration and optimization efforts for organizations transitioning from legacy SAP systems to SAP S/4HANA.
Middleware, Low-Code/No-Code Platforms, and Full-Stack Development:
- Drive integration initiatives using middleware tools such as Workato or similar platforms.
- Lead the deployment and optimization of low-code/no-code platforms such as Mendix to accelerate application development.
- Architect, build, and oversee full-stack application development projects to meet diverse enterprise requirements.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and IT operations, to ensure cohesive and scalable solutions.
- Act as a technology evangelist to communicate architectural principles and objectives to diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
Governance and Security:
- Establish and enforce technology architecture standards, policies, and best practices.
- Ensure enterprise systems and architectures adhere to security, compliance, and risk management protocols.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of experience in technology architecture, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA technical areas such as ABAP, Basis, Fiori, and Security.
Demonstrated experience with middleware interface tools (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft, or similar platforms).
Proven expertise in deploying and managing low-code/no-code platforms such as Mendix.
Proven expertise in designing, building, and managing full-stack applications.
Strong leadership experience, including managing and mentoring technical teams.
In-depth knowledge of enterprise technology trends, architectural frameworks, and modern software development practices.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Certifications in SAP S/4HANA, middleware platforms, or architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
Hands-on experience with Workday Studio for integration and automation.
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with data architecture, analytics, and AI/ML solutions.
Prior experience working in agile environments and leading digital transformation initiatives.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $183,600.00 - $204,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
