What Will You Be Doing?
Assist the Manager of Occupational Health and Environmental Compliance in regulatory matters concerning OSHA, EPA, CDC, DOT, Hazardous Materials and other regulatory organizations as occurrences arise through employee reporting, audits and investigations.
Essential Functions
- Monitor compliance with environmental and safety programs. Analyze data and identify trends from operational performance requirements, employee reporting, audits and investigations. Provide policy and procedural recommendations based on data obtained. (40%)
- Conduct site visits, audits, and evaluations to identify improvement opportunities, facilitate change management and provide educational outreach to correct potential EPA, OSHA and DOT, Hazardous Materials compliance issues. Track, trend, and follow up on all findings. Provide risk analysis recommendations to leadership based on audit findings. (30%)
- Conduct incident investigations related to employee injury, facilities, and Hazardous Materials. (5%)
- Update Aircraft Safe Drinking Water database and monitor program for accuracy and effectiveness using aircraft maintenance records (5%)
- Manage Safety Data Sheet data base (5%)
- Participate in committees on environmental, safety risk analysis, and other relevant committees (5%)
- Conduct reviews of individual departments training modules in Schoox and coordinate with each on updates needed (5%)
Other Functions
- Assist in OSHA, EPA, DOT Hazardous Materials violation investigations and responses
- Update Safety Homepage utilizing Dreamweaver as the administrator
- Conduct updates to Safety and Health Manuals and EPA permits
Qualifications
- Three to five years of work experience in occupational safety, environmental, hazardous materials, EPA, ARCS, or OSHA compliance
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution of higher learning or equivalent work experience
- Ground handling operations experience preferred
- Audit and Investigation experience preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, CDC, DOT, Hazardous Materials regulations
- Familiarity with FAA Operation Specifications
- Familiarity with Safety Management System (SMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent written report skills
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with Frontier company departments and government agencies
- Ability to travel to Frontier locations to perform audits (up to 30%)
- Ability to run reports, analyze data and present results
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Dreamweaver
- Excellent presentation skills

- Ability to establish positive working relationships within Frontier and with government agencies
