This is along-term contractposition with anopportunity for conversionwith our top client inIndianapolis, IN. This role is FULLY REMOTE andPay for this role is about$30hrwith some paid travel required.
TheCommunity Outreach Specialist will represent the Maternal and Child Health Division’s (MCH) Systems Building and Community Engagement Team (SBCE) in the community, to build relationships with a wide variety of local and state-wide partners, and to promote MCH projects and programs. Also, liaison between the community, families and the MCH system. The Outreach and Education Specialist will support the awareness and visibility of the Maternal and Child Health initiatives to the state. This position will fulfill this purpose by (1) representing MCH at numerous community events and meetings (2) engaging providers and families in the MCH system and (3) providing information, support, and connections to training opportunities to professionals statewide.
The ideal candidate possesses the below additional experience;

At least 1 year of experience coordinating Outreach programs & projects
Experience with Indiana Medicaid, MCH programs & collaboration with Office of Public Affairs (OPA)
Excellent communication, multi-tasking, training, and collaborative skills
Must be proficient in MS Office programs and some marketing is a plus
Valid Indiana Driver’s License Required
Bachelor's Required in Human/Social Services or Early Childhood Education
