As a Non-Destructive Engineer at Rolls-Royce, you will use your knowledge and expertise in the development and application of NDE Techniques for the relevant parts of the product lifecycle. In this role, you will also interface and provide guidance on NDE matters to related engineering disciplines.

Key Accountabilities:
To solve problems through evaluative judgements. Analyses factual information from multiple sources, interprets results and identifies effective solutions by applying their own technical knowledge, expertise, and engineering judgement.
Developing and Maintaining proficiency in NDE Methods relevant to their role (eg. Ultrasonics, Radiography, Eddy Currents, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Visual, Remote Visual, Noise & Vibration)
Application of NDE capabilities on product, strictly adhering to procedures, correctly interpreting data, and accurately reporting results. Including leading inspection teams, as required
Act in accordance with both the company values and those associated with being a professional engineer: with integrity that is beyond reproach
Understand company business objectives, how their work fits into these objectives, and ensure that the work they do supports this
Represent the company appropriately with suppliers and customers, as required
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of engineering experience, OR
Master's degree in STEM, OR
PhD in STEM, OR
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Preferred Requirements:
Adept in CMC (ceramic matrix deposits)
Knowledge and experience of product integrity (eg. Structural Integrity) and certification frameworks (eg. Inspection Qualification)
Direct technical experience relevant to the Engineering discipline
Professional Qualifications in relevant NDE methods, at appropriate Levels
Ability to apply logical, analytical, and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems
