Airbus A220 Mobile Manufacturing Site is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Technical Support department based in Mobile, AL.
Meet the Team:
You will be part of a team that provides technical support to the A220 production team with the goal of delivering aircraft on time, on cost and on quality.
Our team at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facility take our aircraft from concept to customer delivery – working with production teams on every aspect of assembly from managing technical information, quality control, maintenance tasks and health & safety – along the flowline and flightline. Your Working Environment:
On ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus’ strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

Position Summary: Functions as Administrative Assistant to the (Senior) Directors of Technical Support Team and Quality A220 and provide support for the teams in the following: office administration procedures, correspondence, business and event arrangements, call screening and prioritization, meeting support and travel requests.
Primary Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: 40%
- Organizes presentations and reports on a regular basis.
- Applies a variety of tools to collect, analyze and report data in support of the Performance Management System.
- Drafts emails, letters and other correspondence received by the Final Assembly Line for the HOs signature as well as in response to requests for general information.
Coordination and Alignment: 30%
- Follow-up on actions requested by or requiring the approval of the (Senior) Directors to ensure timely review and response.
- Responsible to capture meeting minutes and distribute as required.
Event Management and Scheduling: 20%
- Arranges for ancillary activities such as dinners, team events and other related business events.
- Responsible for booking and maintaining travel schedules and coordinating others traveling with the (Senior) Director to maximize efficiency and ensure travel proceeds smoothly.
- Participate in national/international projects.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training
Education:
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 5 years experience and skill sets within business administration.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities::
- Candidates must have proficiency using Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, proactive and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with flexibility and the ability to work under high pressure.
- Supportive and able to adapt to a changing environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent proof-reading and writing skills.
- Previous experience with Concur travel management and Click’n Buy system preferred.
