WHAT WE OFFER:
You are specifically responsible for promoting the SITA EcoMission product in the assigned territory.The position is based in Asia Pacific but it is expected that this individual will also support activities in Middle East and Africa.EcoMission is a Sustainability Management Software for the aerospace industry (serving Airlines, Aircraft operators)that provides a practical solution for the operators having to comply with the latest Emission regulations, carbon trading schemes and SAF mandates.This software is the only one that has been specifically designed for this purpose and is developed with Aviation Industry stakeholders inputs.The mission will be to manage the commercial growth of the product, and identify key prospects,building on the current geographical footprint.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Coordinate closely with colleagues on promoting Eco Mission to existing and new customers
- Develop and maintain detailed information on key decision makers within prospect organizations and follow-up on action plans
- Act as subject matter expert in discussions with customers
- Contribute to marketing presentations and material
- Identify and optimize participation to key industry events
- Keep informed of competitors, developments and trends in assigned region
- Be on the lookout for and entertain potential strategic partnerships
- Coordinate responses to RFPs when applicable
- Coordinate presentations, demos, trials and sales proposals to prospects
- Report on commercial activities (weekly sales review, monthly reports)
- Deliver millions of dollars of yearly business growth. This is a commercial role, and strong technical background is also required.
- Working with all relevant stakeholders to develop the solution target market, the value proposition and the differentiators
- Promoting value and benefit of the solutions/product to customers
- Acting as an authority to advise customers on sustainability management software
- Identifying customer needs/drivers and providing feedback to Product Teams about solution requirements, issues and challenges to drive the market
- Managing and maintaining excellent business relationships with local partners in assigned region.
Qualifications
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- Aerospace engineer or a Master degree in Aerospace or significant, relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of aviation industry dynamics, particularly related to Sustainability.
- Familiarity with aviation operations, regulatory compliance, and sustainability challenges like carbon emissions reduction, SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel). Awareness of global aviation sustainability initiatives like CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation) and EU ETS (European Emissions Trading System). As the individual will be the subject matter expert on this product, this is a hard requirement.
- Knowledge of software solutions such as fuel optimization tools, or environmental compliance platforms.
- Strong interest in aviation sustainability topic and ability to understand regulator language and texts
- Understanding of aviation stakeholders: airlines, airports, ANSPs
- Risk management and human factors skills
- Expertise in business development, sales, contract negotiation
- Experience of interfacing directly with senior levels of management internally and externally
- Outstanding external and internal communication skills
- Strong consultative approach
- Commercially minded, driven by results
- At ease dealing with high-paced commercial environment
- Should be a Team player
