As an Aircraft Interior Technician, you will be primarily responsible for servicing our fleet of approximately 50 aircraft that fly to over 100 destinations across Europe and North America. Our Maintenance & Engineering department helps us to drive Aer Lingus’ ambition by ensuring that all aircraft are maintained in accordance with aviation regulations and manufacturer guidelines to guarantee the highest level of safety for passengers and crew.
Your responsibilities as an Aircraft Interior Technician will include:
Perform Aircraft Cabin inspections and rectification of defects found and defects reported in the TLB.
Perform maintenance to the highest airworthiness standards in compliance with the Aer Lingus MOE.
Perform duties assigned by your supervisors in a safe, timely and diligent manner in accordance with the approved standards and company procedures.
Full utilization of all IT systems in use throughout the maintenance department.
Adherence to all company, regulatory and Health and Safety requirements.
Be proactive in implementing the Aer Lingus security of aircraft program.
Strict adherence to the relevant airport regulations and directions.
Maintain the work environment and work vehicles in a clean and safe condition.
Play an active part in the continuous improvement programs which are ongoing within the Maintenance and Engineering Department.
Responsible for the delivery of key KPIs for the department.
We are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:
Experience performing maintenance on aircraft cabin interiors.
Familiarity and experience of using IT systems including the MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, with proven organisational skills.
Strong technical judgement and trouble-shooting skills.
Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
An enthusiastic team member with a positive attitude to work effectively in an ever-changing environment.
Capable of and prepared to work shift, based on a 24 x 7 pattern.
Hold a full clean Irish driving licence or a licence from a recognised state which is eligible to enable an exchange to a full Irish Licence.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Hold a full clean driving licence.
Able to provide details of 2 verifiable references.
Prepared to complete a medical questionnaire and medical examination.
Eligible to live and work in the EU.
Current unrestricted worldwide passport.
Able to pass a five year security background check as this role is based in Dublin.
