About the team you are joining
Commercial Excellence is a dynamic team within the Marketing and Commercial Performance department and is responsible for driving continuous improvement in systems, processes, and tools supporting the Commercial Products and Services team. The IATA Store, launched in 2024, is IATA’s e-Commerce platform.
What your day would be like
Reporting to
the Senior Manager IATA Store and collaborating closely with the Commercial
team, you will ensure the smooth operation of the IATA
Store. You will oversee product onboarding, gather
product requirements from stakeholders (Product Managers) and maintain product
listings and pages to ensure they are
sellable and up to date on the Store. Your key responsibilities wil be:
-Operations
Manage relationships with stakeholders to maintain content quality, usability, user interaction, journey tracking and overall commercial performance for the Store
Ensure the smooth running of the e-commerce ecosystem: including product visibility management end-to-end (Store and iata.org), as well as Google Analytics and reporting
Ensure product details are accurate and up to date (description, prices, assets on the Digital Asset Management systems - DAM, release dates, …) and transactional email content is current.
Guarantee products are sellable on the e-commerce platform
Assist in progressively onboarding all existing and new products (and business models) onto the Store.
-Training, support and continuous improvement
Prepare and deliver demos, training sessions and workshops to enhance team knowledge of existing and new Store features.
Assist in testing, bug fixing and enhancement delivery.
Ensure up-to-date documentation of relevant business processes.
Provide third level support for customers and first level support for IATA Product Managers, act as a proxy product owner for store features.
-Performance analysis
Produce reports and insights using tools like Google analytics, Looker Studio and Power BI
Assist in gathering and analysing e-commerce performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
We would love to hear from you if
-3-5 years of experience in technology-based products, product management or e-commerce operations;
-Strong, solution-oriented work ethic and the ability to adapt to varying complexities and priorities.
-Good understanding of CRM, e-commerce, order-to-cash and related systems (SAP, Salesforce, Optimizely or similar platforms…);
-Excellent written communication skills in English
-Hands-on with a willingness to learn/figure things out;
-Strong sense of customer service, ownership, and accountability;
-Strong interpersonal skills.
Desirable additional skills:
-Knowledge of data visualisation tools (PowerBI, looker Studio)
-Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
-Knowledge of design or wireframing tools (Figma, Axure or similar)
-The
preferred candidate is customer-focused with a track record on e-commerce
operations, thrive in challenging situations and able to manage multiple
priorities in tight timelines. You should enjoy working in an international
and diverse organization.
