Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled litigation professional to join our legal team as a manager. The candidate must have extensive experience in managing consumer, civil, criminal, quasi-criminal matters, and writ-petitions. This role requires strong expertise in managing litigation (including the procedures thereof), HR-related legal issues and regulatory compliance. In addition, the candidate must have exposure of drafting/reviewing and negotiating general business contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Litigation-Handling consumer, civil, criminal, quasi-criminal matters and writ-petitions, etc. Reviewing and drafting of pleadings, evidence, written arguments, and related applications. Engaging and liaising with lawyers to ensure effective and timely legal representation and represent the company with the intent to safeguarding the company's interests.
- Regulatory, Advisory & Legal Research- Render risk management advice and legal support across all business domains, offering advisory on compliance matters. Carrying out legal research on a multifarious laws and legal issues. Draft responses to show-cause notices and correspondences from regulatory authorities. Remain abreast of the latest legal developments.
- HR contracts & Issues: Reviewing employment contracts and handle labour-related issues/notices/complaints. Manage labour disputes and provide day-to-day legal opinion on employee-related matters.
- Intellectual Property (IP)- Managing the IP portfolio of the company and liaising with the firms for IP applications and prosecution.
- Handling Unruly Pax Complaints: Managing the airline unruly passenger matters and acting as the anchor for the committee for timely closure of these complaints.
- Contracts- Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of general business contracts, including relating to airport offices space agreement, employment contracts, master services agreement, NDAs, vendor contracts, sales and distribution contracts, etc.
- SOPs - Formulation of standard operating procedures / manuals / checklists for legal processes and ensuring continuous improvements in the same.
Qualification:
- B.A. LL.B from a recognized college/university
Work Experience:
- 8 Years + of post-qualification experience
