Duties
JOB DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Monitor the satisfaction of all Embraer customers in the region to ensure that the level of technical, operational, and air safety support is maintained or improved. Provide technical support knowledge and advice to customers, provide regular updates to the team on current customers support product issues and offerings, and provide technical support services to customers and authorized shops in accordance with airworthiness requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with prospects, customers, and key contacts within the industry. Prepare, guide and monitor maintenance, structural repair and modifications. Assist and monitor operator technical/performance related evaluations to collect customer data, triggering improvements in cooperation with headquarters and local office about aircraft availability, direct maintenance cost, and maintenance/engineering/logistic labor efficiency. Coordinate and take part in meetings in the area of engineering and maintenance with suppliers, customers, and certification authorities, providing input and feedback concerning those meetings and conferences. Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupations required. Experience must include: 3 years of experience: in maintenance routine of operating Embraer models 145, EJET’s and E2’s; analyzing flight data; diagnosing failures and promoting product changes; providing on-site technical training for airlines crew worldwide; providing technical assistance to airlines engineering and maintenance control centers, mainly during the entry-into service (EIS) of Embraer models EJET’s and E2’s; in Maintenance computer programming; approving maintenance and repair procedures, either internal or from partners and suppliers. Experience can be concurrent.
SALARY: $103,500.00 to $122,000.00/ per year
HOURS: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM / 40 hours/week
