Position Overview:
STS Line Maintenance is seeking highly motivated
A&P Mechanics to join our growing line maintenance station in
Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As part of a dynamic team, you will provide top-level aircraft maintenance services to support our customers’ daily operations and ensure an exceptional experience for both our clients and the flying public. STS Line Maintenance is one of the

Job Responsibilities & Duties:
- Report directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads while collaborating with field airlines, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers.
- Ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards, following applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies, and best practices.
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair various commercial and large regional aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment.
- Maintain high standards of quality and integrity in all aspects of maintenance.
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on the analysis of test results while adhering to maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents.
- Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and repair or replace as needed.
- Perform all other duties as required to ensure aircraft are flight-ready.
- Work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Perform maintenance on commercial and large regional aircraft, including but not limited to the Airbus A320, CRJ, and Embraer 170.
Ideal Candidate Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must hold a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no history of infractions.
- At least 12 months of recent A&P experience working on commercial or large regional aircraft (line maintenance experience is a plus).
- Previous experience working on Airbus A320 family, 737, Embraer 170/190, and CRJ 200/700/900 aircraft is strongly preferred but not required.
- Own a set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tools provided).
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Able to stand, climb ladders and stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug & alcohol test, and obtain Customs & Border Protection clearance.
- Basic-to-mid-level computer and organizational skills.
- FAA-approved Part 145 repair station or Part 135 experience is highly desired.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to assess and repair malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to repair systems on aircraft airframes and engines, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Flexible work availability, including potential days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional customer service, communication skills, and work ethic, with a strong commitment to excellence.
Rate Of Pay:
- Starting pay ranges between $32-$40 per hour, depending on experience.
- Yearly raises are available based on performance evaluation.
