We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Crew Operations Manager – Cabin Crew Devices to lead the deployment, operation, and enhancement of crew devices across our network.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the functionality, reliability, and continued development of the applications used by our cabin crew, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will support front-line teams by coordinating working groups and leading training sessions to optimize the use of technology, thereby enhancing operational performance and customer service.
In this role, you will conduct regular audits and updates to ensure all technology complies with safety and operational standards while adopting a connected and empowered crew community. Staying informed about the latest trends in aviation technology, you will develop compelling business cases to secure funding for innovative solutions. Additionally, you will oversee daily operations of cabin crew devices, manage troubleshooting, and ensure crew access to up-to-date guidance and documentation.
Reporting to senior management, you will provide insights into the status and progress of technological initiatives and continuously seek efficient practices, championing cost control and lean operations. This role requires a strong commitment to integrity and the confidential handling of personal data in accordance with company policies and GDPR standards.
What You Need To Do This Role
You will be a skilled professional with expertise in the latest aviation technology, particularly iOS devices, with the ability to manage, troubleshoot, and update these systems effectively. You’ll have strong leadership abilities to oversee teams, coordinate projects, and lead training sessions while motivating staff to achieve operational objectives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaboration with stakeholders, conducting training, and providing updates to senior management. A sound understanding of the airline operating environment, with a focus on performance, customer service, and continuous improvement, is critical.
The role also requires proficiency in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and implementing process improvements, including conducting reviews, audits, and developing business cases. Commitment to safety, operational standards, and data protection compliance, alongside the integrity to handle sensitive information, is a must. Flexibility to travel across the network to support Cabin Services and Crew Management teams is also required to ensure the smooth management of technological operations and alignment with company goals.

Location & Hours of Work
This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office in Luton.
