People and Change Partner - Fixed Term Contract
Luton
Team
The People and Change Partners play a key role in supporting Senior HR Business Partners to deliver the people strategy in line with the wider business plan. Reporting to the Head of HR, they provide guidance and coaching to business leaders, lead organisational development (OD) initiatives, and support people-focused change projects. They also help implement key priorities from Centres of Excellence, such as reward and talent development. With several major projects planned over the next 12–24 months, we are recruiting for roles focused on both project work and business-as-usual activities.
What You'll Be Doing
This role supports business leaders and Senior HR Business Partners in designing and delivering people-related changes, such as organisational design, cultural shifts, and updates to ways of working or terms and conditions, all aligned with the Target Operating Model (TOM). You'll work closely with leaders to create organisational design plans, assess people impacts, and ensure resources are in place. The role provides expert advice on people and organisational development (OD) changes, manages job evaluations and salary offers with input from the Reward team, and handles out-of-cycle salary and headcount requests. You'll also use people metrics to inform recommendations, ensure HR systems are updated, and collaborate with Finance to align changes with budgets. Furthermore, you'll work with Employee Relations to support consultation processes and develop communication materials for any proposed changes.
What You'll Bring To The Team
We’re looking for someone with experience in a fast-paced, multi-site HR environment who can communicate effectively, using clear storytelling and data insights to build a case for change. You’ll need a proven track record in leading people change initiatives, such as conducting impact assessments and planning organisational design changes, along with experience advising on complex employee relations issues and working with employee representative groups. A solid understanding of UK employment law, talent management, and reward principles is essential, as is the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and align people strategies with business goals. Strong organisation skills, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and a talent for building relationships and influencing others are key. Familiarity with Workday, MS Office, and other HR systems is also important.
