Synopsis
The GSE Technician is responsible for the maintenance , serviceability and positioning of the GSE equipment and vehicles in the Technical Operations environment.
Accountabilities
• Ensure smooth functioning of the GSE organisation.
• Ensure the serviceability of all GSE equipment under the tech ops environment.
• Ensure all preventive maintenance of the GSE equipment and vehicles is performed as required by the operation and as defined by the equipment manufacturer.
• Be available and assist with any audit requirements as defined by the National Airworthiness Authority, EY Quality Assurance or the customer.
• Strive perform his functions and responsibilities in order to achieve “zero” repeat audit findings and minimize any other audit findings.
• Ensure that Quality Lapses are investigated and remedied in accordance with company procedures.
• Perform any other tasks as required by the Store Supervisor or Senior Manager Resource and Production Planning.
• Ensure staff competency for self for, capability, development and training is established and maintained by effective and timely use of i-Achieve, CPM, i-Learn, Etihad Policies and Procedures and other tools as appropriate.
Education & Experience
• Essential: Holds a high school diploma.
• Essential: Minimum of 5 years’ aviation experience including at least 2 years in a related position.
