We're now looking for a Transport Manager to take the helm of our daily transport operations!

✅WHAT YOU'LL DO
- To directly assist Management by coordinating and generating the shipping requirements for distribution routes, from warehouse to end-user, maintaining precise and up-to-date reports
- Maintaining and developing the contract through innovation, cost reduction and forward thinking
- Ensure management of drivers, to legal standard to achieve planned deliveries
- Set standards and process with staff and ensure they are maintained
- Communication with customer, regular reviews, KPI production
- Liaison with service locations to maintain fleet
- Maintain service schedule and control standards and repair costs
- Health & Safety responsibility for the operation
✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Must be an O License Holder
- International CPC License Holder
- Experience with vehicle tracking and driver performance
- Experience of recruiting, training, counselling and disciplining staff
- Previous and practical experience as a Transport Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment 2 year's experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices
- Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
- A recognized qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well-received
