As a Crew Planning Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth airline operations by planning, maintaining, and adjusting crew rosters. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to support both operational excellence and crew wellbeing.
This role offers the chance to gain firsthand experience in the aviation industry. No prior airline background is required - we'll provide full training to help you succeed.
This is a full-time, office-based role located in Riga, Latvia, with a temporary contract until30th of September 2026.
Your responsibilities will include:
Plan unpublished rosters to ensure crew availability aligns with operational needs;
Replan and adjust published rosters to accommodate last-minute changes, schedule updates, and unforeseen circumstances;
Plan and arrange crew hotel accommodations and transportation as needed;
Collaborate with third-party suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate service delivery;
Perform calculations based on adjusted crew needs and operational schedules;
Use MS Excel and other tools to maintain records, analyze data, and produce reports;
Ensure all roster plans comply with airline regulations and statutory requirements;
Work closely with operations teams to address challenges efficiently and minimize disruption.
What we're looking for:
We’re seeking someone with strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a drive to learn. Aviation experience is not required - what matters most is your proactive mindset and ability to perform under pressure.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Have strong organizational and time-management skills;
Are proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel;
Are a quick learner who can adapt to airline operations software;
Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
Are fluent in spoken and written English, required as it is the primary language used for communication within the international teams and with global partners and vendors;
Can remain resilient under pressure and manage shifting priorities effectively;
Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
