The Ramp & Passenger Services Supervisor oversees and coordinates all airport operations related to ramp and passenger services. Responsibilities include managing staffing levels, monitoring work performance and quality, coaching and training employees, and enforcing compliance with company policies, standards, and contracts. The role involves hiring, disciplining, and terminating staff as needed while ensuring budgetary and operational efficiency.
This position may serve as a liaison between the company, airport authorities, and customers. Supervisors proactively ensure safety, security, customer satisfaction, quality control, and positive employee relations. They are also responsible for maintaining compliance with the company’s security program and TSA regulations, including audits and the enforcement of ID display protocols.
Supervisors are expected to maintain fair and respectful practices with employees, customers, vendors, and other parties. Job scope may vary depending on the size and nature of the operation.
