Job Purpose
To support the Flight Operations and Engineering Maintenance teams with timely and accurate provision and update of all technical information, documents, modifications and changes necessary for the aircraft’s technical library. Ensures Pilots and Cabin Crew are updated with reliable and efficient data needed for successful operations.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Establish, maintain, and control the Company Library to ensure all manuals, documents, and records remain current, valid, and compliant with applicable DAC requirements.
- Administer the Electronic Document Management Systems (e.g. Docunet, T3 etc.), ensuring document integrity, configuration control, and timely availability of all required publications.
- Ensure controlled distribution of approved manuals, revisions, and notices to all relevant internal departments and contracted service providers.
- Maintain aircraft documents, forms folder, and onboard hard copy manuals if any, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and currency at all times.
- Control document acknowledgment processes, including “Read and Sign,” and ensure availability of records for audit and oversight purposes.
- Manage document indexing, version control, and retention for both electronic and hard-copy records in accordance with DAC requirements.
- Monitor document validity, revision status, and expiry dates, ensuring timely updates and withdrawal of obsolete documentation.
- Ensure secure backup, storage, and protection of electronic records in accordance with Company IT and data protection procedures.
- Control document access rights and user privileges in accordance with defined postholder responsibilities and authorizations.
- Publish and archive notices, memos, and communications issued by nominated postholders.
Key Result Responsibilities - Continued
- Coordinate with the Central Technical Publications function to incorporate approved manual revisions and technical notices.
- Ensure manual cross-reference tables and compliance matrices are maintained and updated and notify relevant postholders of applicable changes.
- Monitor document storage systems to ensure traceability, accessibility, and regulatory compliance and alert the concerned postholders in case of any deviation.
- Provide documentation support during internal, external, and authority audits, including preparation of manuals copies and compliance evidence.
- Ensure all operational documentation complies with applicable DAC requirements.
- Actively support and participate in the Company Safety Management System (SMS), including hazard and occurrence reporting, and promote the Safety Policy.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
- High School /Diploma in any stream or equivalent.
- Compliance, Document Control, Librarian and Quality Assurance trainings are an added value and may be treated as conditional for this role.
- Capable of using technology systems and tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English Language
- Proven skills in analyzing data, identifying irregularities and discrepancies and reporting the same to management for corrective measures
- Aircrafts technical knowledge and exposure to aircrafts maintenance requirements would be a plus
- Must be available to travel between Air Arabia’s various bases frequently
- Must possess at least License for “B” driving category
- Possesses good organizing and time management skills even in frequently changing environments
- Applies judgment in assessing matters combined with good problem-solving skills

Work Experience
2+ years of related working experience in a similar role in Document Control in any field, preferably in the Airlines Industry.
