Roles And Responsibility
- Define and integrate retrofit design solutions for XWB Family post aircraft delivery
- Focus on airframe modifications, including associated mechanical and electrical interfaces and adaptation of related systems
- Contribute to design activities for Retrofit Solutions
- Validate internal and external engineering work packages
- Check design drawings (If necessary, DOS delegations are available)
- Prepare and follow-up relevant change documents, i.e., TRS and supporting documents
- Support airworthiness activities and Safety Management System
- Provide engineering data and support to SB-Production, supply chain, and other involved internal customers
- Participate in technical meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide SB embodiment support remote/on-site (worldwide)

- Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain change documents like Technical Request Sheets (TRS) and supporting documents.
- Airworthiness Support: Assist in airworthiness activities and Safety Management System compliance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Provide engineering data and support to SB-Production, supply chain, and other internal customers.
- Technical Liaison: Participate in technical meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- On-Site Support: Provide SB embodiment support remotely or on-site worldwide as needed.

- Strong understanding of aircraft retrofit design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA V5 for design activities.
- Ability to validate and review engineering work packages.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and airworthiness standards in the aerospace industry.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
- Project management skills to coordinate tasks and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Technical expertise in aircraft systems and structures.
- Willingness to travel globally as required for on-site support and meetings.
