Brief About The Role
Assistant Manager – FRMS will support the day-to-day execution and quality assurance of IndiGo’s Fatigue Risk Management framework. The role is designed to strengthen regulatory compliance, enable timely validation of fatigue reports, and support trend analysis and safety assurance activities, in line with DGCA expectations and internal FRM requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Flight Operations, FRMS, SMS, Flight Safety, Crew Scheduling, or OCC-related functions
- Graduate with formal education in Aviation, Safety Management, Human Factors, or a related discipline is preferred
- Exposure to regulatory audits, compliance processes, or safety management systems
- Experience in handling operational data, reports, and structured documentation
Skill Set
- Strong analytical and data-handling skills
- Proficient working and understanding of Microsoft Office applications
- High attention to detail and documentation quality
- Good understanding of flight operations and fatigue-related risks
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across Flight Ops, OCC
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Process-driven, structured, and able to manage multiple tasks within defined timelines
Job Responsibilities
- Process, review, and validate fatigue reports in accordance with approved FRM procedures
- Facilitate and document validation of fatigue reports, as required by the regulator
- Ensure timely and same-month closure of reports with proper traceability
- Maintain FRM trackers, databases, and dashboards to support analysis and audit readiness
- Conduct trend analysis to identify recurring fatigue drivers and emerging risks
- Prepare inputs, summaries, and supporting data for FSAG meetings, audits, and regulatory submissions
- Support corrective and preventive plans related to FRM observations
- Coordinate with Crew Tracking, Planning, OCC, and Flight Safety teams for fatigue-related inputs
- Assist in policy updates, procedural refinements, and FRM documentation as required
