QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Flight Data Analysis (If experienced in FDM, prerequsite of Bachelor’s degree from Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering of Universities is not requested), OR (if not experienced) Bachelor’s degree from Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering or Statistics Departments of Universities,
- Knowledge and experience in SMS is preferred,
- Responsible, prone to teamwork and open to continuous improvement,
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills,
- Highly motivated, caring and attentive to details,
- Able to take initiative if necessary,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
- Located in Asian Side of Istanbul.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage the Flight Data Monitoring system, prepare reports and analysis, ensure that analysis’ triggers are up to date and covers current operational limits.
- Informe related personnel about any significant flight safety event identified through FDM analyses.
- Analyze and report submitted IQSMS reports, regarding to report details (reporter’s position, experience etc.) and to evaluate this, prepare outputs for SQRB meetings.
- Follow up FDM trends, determine hazards and take actions when trends are above acceptable level of safety.
- Analyze, follow up and coordinate flight safety related IQSMS reports and take actions after defining root cause and threats.
- Follow up the daily and monthly flight data recovery rate and take actions when necessary.
- To carry out necessary correspondences in case any internal or external department request.
- Knowledge of IOSA/EASA requirements applicable for flight data analysis is considered as an advantage;
- Reviews FDM data with the Flight Data Monitoring Team and provides analysis support as required.
- Prepare and modify documents and documentation including correspondence, reports, drafts and emails.
