Job Overview And Responsibilities
This role will collaborate with the Business and IT teams to identify the value, scope, features, and delivery roadmap for data engineering products and solutions. You will also communicate with stakeholders across the board, including customers, business managers, and the development team, to ensure the goals and vision align with business objectives.
- Perform data analysis, and workflow analysis, create current/future state data flow diagrams, and help the team assess the business impact of any changes or enhancements
- Works with the development, architecture, governance, and program management teams to deliver a highly scalable and reliable digital data asset
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify the business case/value, work on defining product scope and feature prioritization
- Partner with the quality assurance (QA) team to define acceptance criteria, review test cases, and ensure critical functionality is tested effectively
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by working with stakeholders to define key test cases, conducting UAT sessions, and demonstrating product functionality
- Manage product backlog and technical debt and create a delivery roadmap
- Create user stories, non-functional requirements and follow agile best practices
- Should have excellent communication and analytical skills

Qualifications
Required
- BE, BTECH or equivalent, in computer science or related STEM field
- 4+ years of total IT experience as either a Data Analyst/Business Data Analyst or as a Data Engineer
- 3+ years of experience with writing SQL queries on RDBMS or Cloud based database
- Experience with Visualization tools such as Spotfire, PowerBI, Quicksight etc
- Experience in Data Analysis and Requirements Gathering
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Creative, driven, detail-oriented focus, requiring tackling of tough problems with data and insights. Natural curiosity and desire to solve problems.
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- AWS Certification preferred
- Strong experience with continuous integration & delivery using Agile methodologies
- Data engineering experience in transportation/airline industry
