Delta’s Global Events team is a centralized group of experts leading highly produced customer & employee meetings, events, conferences, and hospitality programs while also providing event guidance and tools to support event organizers w/in the Delta enterprise.
The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with strong communication skills, who aligns w/Delta’s Brand Beliefs of being welcoming, elevated & caring.
This role will support core Global Events team projects, including but not limited to:
- Support planning & production of Signature Events, Team Engagement Events &/or Divisional Events, as assigned
- Research & develop elevated event solutions to enhance Delta’s brand presence & customer experience at events
- Maintain & develop branded tools & resources to support Signature & Divisional event planning
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
Must be an undergraduate student enrolled in a 4-year degree program in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business or a related discipline
- Must be able to work 12 consecutive weeks (40 hours per week).
- Must be able to come into World Headquarters in Atlanta.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Some professional event planning experience.
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage concurrent tasks efficiently.
- High energy, positive, professional attitude, pride in work product and passion for event management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel; knowledge of SharePoint site administration and OneDrive experience is preferred.

- Ability to work varied hours, which may include days, nights, weekends etc.
