Position Summary
Ensure product quality through process improvement, writing, authorized and control procedures and documentation to support the QMS development and impact quality.
Responsibilities
Essential job duties and responsibilities
• Support documentation, control, and revision of procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications to verify product conformity.
• Document inspection results, nonconformities, and test data accurately.
• Assist in identifying and documenting nonconforming materials and products.
• Generate and maintain Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and associated records.
• Support containment activities, segregation of suspect product, and communication to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in tracking and trending nonconformance data to identify recurring issues.
• Participate in problem-solving activities (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa, 8D, DMAIC).
• Support investigation of customer complaints, internal defects, and supplier issues.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and verifying corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor effectiveness of implemented actions through data analysis and follow-up audits.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Control Plans, FMEAs (DFMEA/PFMEA), and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, 6S, and Kaizen events.
• Help identify opportunities for reducing scrap, rework, and process variation.
• Assist in preparing quality reports and metrics (e.g., defect rates, DPPM, FPY, scrap, rework).
• Support preparation of First Article Inspection (FAI) reports (aerospace) and PPAP submissions (automotive), under guidance.
• Work closely with production, design, maintenance, and supply chain teams to address quality issues.
• Support communication of quality requirements and standards to operators and technicians.
• Participate in internal meetings, reviews, and audits as a representative of the quality function.
• Assist in planning and conducting internal process and product audits.
• Help prepare for external audits (customer, certification body, regulatory).
• Support responses to audit findings and follow up on corrective actions.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related engineering discipline.
Experience:
•2 years’ experience ISO systems
•2 years Knowledge of internal audits system.
•Knowledge of Troubleshooting Tools
•Experience in quality / production environments
Languages: Advanced English
Qualifications and desired skills:
•Knowledge of ISO 9001 Standards
•Preferable knowledge ISO/ IATF16949
•Preferable Aerospace standard AS9100 knowledge
