TUI Group is recruiting a Supply Chain Planner to join the Inflight Supply Chain team within Customer, Cabin, and inflight services, reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager. This role will help to support the expanding remit of this growing and exciting function and build on the considerable progress that has been achieved since it was introduced into the Inflight Supply Chain structure in 2018.
The role will include the effective management of inflight product (retail, non-retail & Heavy Galley Equipment) required on board TUI flights across the TUI group. You will be part of a truly global supply chain managing the flow of orders to our suppliers, the inbound into our third-party logistics warehouse and our replenishment schedule into all our home and outstation units. This role is critical in ensuring all TUI customers can experience the TUI service on-board all our aircraft.
The Supply Chain Planner is a critical role within our operation, this can include supporting with our customer experience teams to supporting our commercial team with their revenue targets. This role is all about achieving the best availability, cost, service balance within our supply chain and the key source of information for our internal and external partners.

About The Job
As the Supply Chain Planner, you will report directly to the Supply chain Planning Manager. You will play a key role in ensuring that the Customer, Cabin, and Inflight Services function continues to focus on maximising availability, increasing revenue, and improving customers satisfaction. You will be involved in and will support the management of several key processes.
The role will involve meeting regularly with colleagues from the source markets to discuss and align on delivery and stock holding parameters within the caterers’ bonded locations. You will also maintain an inventory level at our third-party warehouses that is optimal for the operation.
You will be required to produce weekly reporting with accurate and up to date data that will be used by several internal and external stakeholders to help ensure that the inflight supply chain delivers the optimal combination of high availability, minimal stock holding at the lowest possible cost. This will involve developing, sharing, and discussing the latest stock positions and availability at SKU level with internal stakeholders and therefore excellent communication skills are required plus the ability to forge strong working relationships with external partners for effective resolution to any supplier issues.
You will work closely with customer, cabin, and inflight service colleagues in the Product team and in particular the Category Managers, Commercial Managers and the Product and Catering Managers. There will be a strong focus on effective planning of supplier ordering, bond replenishment and communication to maintain the highest possible availability across all product sectors across the business.
Communication with the Forecast Planners to ensure that you are receiving accurate and timely forecasts for their product sets also with the assistant merchandiser on any bar packing/loading changes that are due and affect the stock volumes within the supply chain.
About You
- Experience in a Retail Supply Chain or FMCG environment.
- Experience of third-party logistics and warehousing.
- Expert of managing and analysing complex data in a Supply Chain environment.
- Good commercial acumen and sound judgement
- Excellent attention to detail, organised and determined to succeed.
- Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Flexibility to travel throughout Europe on a regular basis.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Ability to speak another language (French, Dutch or German) would be advantageous.
