What You’ll Gain
Jet2.com delivers the
Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship as an employer provider. Throughout this programme, you will achieve:
- Level 2 Diploma Aerospace and Aviation Engineering (Foundation Competence)
- Level 3 Diploma in Aviation Maintenance (Development Competence)
- Level 3 Diploma in On-Aircraft Maintenance Category A
- CAA Aircraft Maintenance Licence Category A, Part 66 modules and practical training through Jet2.com’s approved Part 147 Training facility
The apprenticeship is primarily based at our dedicated training facility within our
Engineering Maintenance Hangar at Manchester International Airport, with practical training taking place across our network. Throughout your journey, you will be supported and mentored by our
dedicated Engineering Apprenticeship Team.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking passionate, driven individuals who are excited about a career in Aircraft Engineering. To succeed, you’ll need:
- You must be 18 years of age or over
- Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (You will be asked to provide evidence of this)
- This must include Maths, English, and a science or technical subject
- A talent for practical subjects
- A strong desire to learn and develop your skills
- A positive, forward-thinking attitude and a customer-facing approach
- Willingness to relocate as required
