About the team you are joining
The Compliance Requirements Network team is a small team deeply committed to strengthening partnerships with global governments and industry stakeholders to ensure that accurate and up-to-date regulatory requirements (both for passengers and cargo) are communicated in real time across aviation stakeholders.
What your day would be like
Reporting to the Compliance Requirements Network Manager, the intern will be supporting the team by implementing a range of activities geared towards the continuous improvement of the sourcing operation for IATA solutions like TACT & Timatic.
• Provide support for the implementation of a strategy designed to improve in quality and depth of sourcing information.
• Perform research activities to identify optimal sources of information.
• Assist in the expansion and strengthening of the existing network by fostering effective partnerships with internal stakeholders (IATA offices) and external partners (airlines, airports, and government authorities).
• Promote these IATA solutions among airport and government regulators helping ensure industry compliance and mitigating the risk of fines for airlines.
• Maintain the CRN contact database by following established procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, the selected candidate will be expected to complete the following internship assignment: How Can AI Help Keep Airline Regulations Up to Date?
This project will explore how artificial intelligence can be leveraged to streamline the monitoring, interpretation, and distribution of regulatory updates across the aviation industry. The goal is to identify innovative AI-driven approaches that enhance accuracy, speed, and scalability in managing complex and dynamic passenger and cargo regulations.
We would love to hear from you if
- You have a university degree (Bachelor’s degree as a minimum) and have graduated within the last 12 months.
- You have an excellent command of English as a minimum, other languages, are considered a plus.
- You are Creative, energetic and solution focused.
- You have a strong interest in improving processes to deliver better results.
