KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with the team across geography in developing and enhancing our Android Mobile app.
- Helping junior team members with their technical roadblocks and helping the team to succeed.
- Though leadership and bringing in your experience and expertise to improve our product.
- Collaborating with Product owners and Business stakeholders
- Ensuring the code meets the industry standards and aware of Industry best practices.

- Operations – We support what we build. As a part of the Android development team, you will also be responsible to provide support as and when needed in case of production outages.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- 7+ years of experience in Mobile technologies such as Android SDK, Jetpack, Java, Kotlin.
- Expertise in design patterns and cloud native technologies is desired.
- Excellent understanding of development practices across the Development/QA discipline is required.
- Excellent knowledge of Software Development – Involves knowing the general approach to developing software including best practices, concepts, technology, and methodology obtained through formal training and / or work experience.
- Test Driven Development
- Quality forward development practices, with automation at forefront for continuous quality
- High performing apps focused on a balance of data stored in app vs servers to interact for end consumers, and continuous focus on improvement of that
- Secure apps that adhere to best practices for information security
- Ability to lead and open to share ideas and best practices that you have gained through experience.
- Good knowledge of Cloud Technology such as AWS/Azure.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS):
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle.
- Has proven experience as a Tech Lead delivering Android Apps.
- At least worked on one Android app from concept to Production.
- Knowledge of Airlines Business
- Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure (Azure preferred)
- Strong communication skills and experience in presenting to leaders.
- Innovative and growth mindset.
