The Solutions Delivery team at Porter Airlines is the enterprise project management team, focused on implementing scalable customer experience strategies and solutions.
The successful Project Manager will work collaboratively with the business, technology and front-line teams to identify, scope, and execute high-value, cross-functional projects.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage company-wide projects (technology or business) to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, on budget and according to stakeholder expectation..
- Create and update detailed project plans by gathering and analyzing business requirements all relevant stakeholders (internal/external)
- Direct and coordinate the activities of internal and vendor resources to meet project deliverables.
- Collaborate with the technical and domain leads to manage sprints, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage project communications and provide updates to key audiences, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Support the implementation of project management best practices by maintaining project artifacts, archives and toolsets to be used within the Solutions Delivery team and throughout the organization.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budget or quality of work are met.
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelors or graduate degree in relevant field of study (e.g. business or engineering)
- 5+ years of project management experience
- PMP and/or CBAP designation(s) or working towards PMP certification.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models, with strong knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices.
- Ability to blend Agile and traditional methodologies to fit specific project and business environments.
- Experience in consulting, aviation or travel is an asset
- Technically competent with various software programs, such as Google Workspace , Smartsheet, Trello, JIRA.
