Our client is seeking a
PMO Program Analyst responsible for supporting transformation initiatives through project coordination, performance tracking, financial oversight, reporting, stakeholder alignment, and process optimization. (Hybrid, Calgary)
Must Have Skills
- 5â7 years of project management or Project Management Office support experience
- Strong understanding of project management best practices, principles, and methodologies (PMBOK, Waterfall, Agile)
- Proficiency in project management and process mapping tools such as MS Project, Jira, MS Planner, Workday, Power BI, Enterprise Consciousness, or similar
- Proficiency in financial management tools such as Workday, Oracle, or similar
- Strong analytical and reporting skills using Excel and Power BI
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Nice to Have Skills
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Understanding of how the organization operates and the functions of each division
- Foundational knowledge of organizational business processes
- Experience supporting transformation initiatives
- Experience with governance, audit, and program review documentation
- Exposure to process validation workshops and process improvement activities
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing integrated implementation plans (initiative chartering, project plans and preliminary budgets) for transformation initiatives.Â
- Track progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple projects.Â
- Financial management (budgets, actuals, commitments, forecasts and accruals).Â
- Support change requests, re-planning, and re-forecasting activities.Â
- Prepare dashboards and reports on initiative performance, timelines, and budgets.Â
- Consolidate data for TMO and execution streams to support decision-making.Â
- Collaborate with initiative leads, People & Culture, and corporate communications to ensure alignment across the organization.Â
- Support escalation management and resource coordination across workstreams. Â
- Ensure adherence to AESOâs transformation governance framework.Â
- Maintain documentation for audits and program reviews.Â
- Collaborate with process design on business processes and collectively identify opportunities for improvement.Â
- Be informed on workshops with stakeholders for process validation changes in collaboration with process design analyst.Â
