The
Senior Consultant, Fatigue Analytics & Insights plays a critical role in supporting Qantas’ Fatigue Risk Management Program (FRMP) – a data driven framework Qantas Cabin Crew operate under to reduce fatigue-related risk across current and future operations. This role is responsible for analysing large and complex datasets, including Intelex fatigue reports, rostering and biomathematical data, to identify trends, generate insights and provide evidence‑based recommendations to mitigate fatigue risk.
You will translate complex data into clear and practical insights and present findings to stakeholders across Health & Safety, Cabin Crew and Cabin Crew Management. Success in this role requires strong analytical capability, sound judgement, and the ability to balance operational, commercial, people, health and safety, and industrial considerations while influencing outcomes through effective stakeholder engagement.
You’ll Have
- 5 years’ experience in aviation, transport or workforce services where emphasis is on data analytics and insights
- Proven experience in data analytics, trend analysis and insight generation
- Advanced capability in Power BI, including dashboard and visualisation development
- Confidence analysing large volumes of data to deliver deeper, meaningful insights
- The ability to clearly communicate complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work across diverse business areas
- A self-motivated and agile approach, with the ability to deliver in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- A logical, structured and evidence‑based approach to problem solving
- Knowledge of planning and rostering processes is beneficial
