Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Provisioning, the Materials Forecasting Analyst will perform demand planning activities for aircraft parts & tools based on varying operational factors such as changing reliability impacts, upcoming planning requirements, major/mandatory modifications, component overhauls, growing bases and operational seasonality.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct dynamic ongoing reviews of provisioning requirements (aircraft parts & tools) based on:
- OEM provisioning recommendations
- Varying reliability
- Outbase setups & relevant scope of maintenance at outbases
- Maintenance Forecasts, Heavy check planning, and Major Component Overhaul schedule
- Coordinate Line Maintenance, AOG, and Heavy Maintenance requirements and communicate among the various teams involved to ensure that parts are sourced accurately and in a timely manner
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to make data driven provisioning decisions
- Negotiate favorable commercial terms with vendors based on forecasting data
- Review vendor competencies and ensure that procured parts have required certifications
- Maintain records and files according to the company’s policy, including vendor audit forms
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Post-Secondary education in a relevant field preferred
- Previous experience in the aviation industry is an asset
- Previous experience in materials planning & forecasting is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills
- Effective analytical and presentation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous experience with AMOS an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
