JSG is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for our client in Milpitas. This person will oversees daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and storage. This role is responsible for supervising staff, ensuring accurate inventory management in SAP, and driving operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support warehouse personnel; provide training, coaching, and performance management
- Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and material handling activities
- Ensure proper storage, tracking, and movement of materials within SAP
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including intercompany transfers
- Monitor department metrics (shipping, receiving, inventory) and implement improvements
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and reconciliation
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipments
- Enforce compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (including import/export)
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational goals
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Assist with daily warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications
- 8+ years of warehouse/logistics experience, preferably in an EMS environment
- 5+ years in a warehouse leadership role
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and NPI processes
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to certify)
