Johnson Service Group is seeking an HR Generalist with HRBP experience for a temp to hire role based on performance. This position is 100% on-site at the clients facility in the Fremont, CA.
The HR Generalist will support one of our clients in a fast-paced, high growth environment. Payrate $40 per hour.
This position is a strategic, high-impact role, typically focusing on driving employee engagement, managing employee relations in a fast-paced, often manufacturing-based, technological environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with employment laws (e.g., ADA, FMLA, EEO, OSHA) and update company policies.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and supporting HR systems (HRIS). (Workday preferred)
- Assist managers with escalation of facilitating conflict resolution, guiding formal grievance procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business.
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist with some HRBP experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and experience with employee relations.
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization and drive change.
- Workday/HRIS experience and good with Microsoft office (word, PPT, Excel) skills.
