What’s The Role All About?
The primary responsibility of a Project Management Specialist is to assist the Program Manager in managing all aspects and phases of programs under the Project Management Office such as new programs and projects, operations planning and monitoring, process improvements, operations management system, programs administration, and management of change.
Who Are We Looking For?
- College or University Graduate
- 2–4 years of experience in end‑to‑end project management
- Knowledgeable in the use of project management software is a plus
- Proven ability to draft comprehensive Project Charters
- Hands‑on experience in project budgeting and resource planning
- Highly organized, with the ability to identify risks, gaps, and priorities
- Competent in establishing work structures, critical tasks, and project milestones
Major Responsibilities
- Implement standard approach to project management within the organization
- Set up the system to register relevant projects and monitor full project life cycle
- Assures that all team members understand their roles and accept their responsibilities.
- Support project leads by mentoring, coaching, and executing project management principles/methodologies.
- Communicate milestones and status of projects to management and stakeholders to set expectations and provide opportunity for feedback
- Establishes contingency plans and identifies trigger events and responsibility for initiating corrective action.
- Analyzes the actual performance against the plan and adjusts consistent with plan objectives
