Sourcing Specialist

Job Description

Identify, evaluate, and qualify new local and international suppliers
Develop and manage the supply base for assigned purchasing commodities
Lead supplier selection processes for new and existing products
Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and pricing agreements
Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management teams
Support new product development through strategic sourcing activities
Monitor supplier performance and ensure alignment with company standards
Contribute to supply chain efficiency and risk mitigation strategies
Analyze market trends and sourcing opportunities to ensure competitive advantage

Qualifications

Master's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Supply Chain, Materials Engineering, or a related field
Strong negotiation skills with proven results
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Ability to perform effectively under pressure with autonomy and limited supervision
Solid project management and problem-solving capabilities
Skilled in data analysis and interpretation of reports
Proficient in report creation, progress tracking, and KPI monitoring
First experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the aviation industry
Background in purchasing and engineering, with strong technical and commercial knowledge
Familiarity with information systems such as LN or other ERP platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Proactive and positive “can-do” attitude
Ability to lead cross-functional projects, coordinate resources, and anticipate risks
High level of integrity and a proactive mindset
Strong business orientation with advanced negotiation skills
