Position Summary
Manager, Governance & Training Academic, is responsible for harmonizing multiple training curriculum to ensure they can run concurrently and consistently across the organization. This role will lead the enhancement of training programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The manager will also conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and develop customized training solutions that address organizational and operational needs, as well as meet the demands of third-party customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Standardize two or more existing curricula to ensure uniformity, efficiency, and concurrent delivery.
- Streamline course structures, content, assessments, and delivery methods.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency in learning outcomes and instructional materials.
- Continuously review and update training programs to align with regulatory changes and organizational standards.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory updates to ensure proactive curriculum adjustments.
- Ensure training materials meet compliance, safety, and quality requirements.
- Lead and conduct comprehensive Training Needs Analysis across departments.
- Identify skills gaps, performance issues, and future training requirements.
- Recommend targeted training strategies and solutions based on data-driven insights.
- Design and develop customized training programs to support business objectives and workforce capability development.
- Create or supervise the development of digital, classroom, and blended learning materials.
- Ensure training solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with learner needs.
- Work closely with cross-divisional teams and management to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of all training programs.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies when needed to clarify or validate curriculum requirements.
- Establish KPIs and quality standards for training programs.
- Monitor training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Prepare regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Working Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Engineering, Aviation/Aerospace, or related field, or
- Licensed Aircraft Engineer / Technical Instructor with a minimum of five (5) years of related professional experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or technical training experience
- Must possess at least one of the following:
- HRDC Train-the-Trainer (TTT) Accreditation, or TVET-i Certification, or a valid CAAM AMEL
- 5 Years
Areas of Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in training development, curriculum design, or educational program management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to Aviation Maintenance Training.
- Proven experience in conducting TNAs and creating custom training solutions.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to standardize complex training materials and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
