Job Title: Transmissions Analyst
Work Location: Forest Park, GA
Requirements:
Typical schedule: Will be four ten-hour days, from 7:00am to 5:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. The work week could either be Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday. I'm still finalizing which option will work best but wanted to give you the general outline.
Additional qualification preferences/requirements: A high school diploma is required, and while a college degree is preferred, it’s not mandatory.
Overview:
A Transmission Material Analyst with knowledge of transmission materials or the ability to quickly learn plays a pivotal role in supporting Transmission Capital projects within Supply Chain by coordinating, creating Purchase Requisition, and expediting the materials required for transmission construction to ensure the right items are available at the right time and location.
Key Responsibilities:
Transmission Material Analyst: This role partners closely with the 3PL contractor and internal stakeholders (Construction, Engineering, Procurement, and Traffic) to ensure accurate materials planning and execution, reviewing and validating Transmission Bills of Material, reconciling system accuracy between TEAMS and MAXIMO, sourcing materials through vendor quotes and purchase requisitions.
Compliance, Inventory Control: This position also supports invoice reconciliation, maintains strong inventory controls and audit readiness, including availability for emergencies and storm restoration efforts.
Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of transmission system expansion or improvement projects.
Vendor Relations: Collaborate with supply chain vendors and suppliers to procure necessary components and negotiate service contracts.
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
